Heater control panel repair and a new generator controller
We repaired the Allen-Bradley PLC in an SCR heater control panel, and fitted and programmed a new Basler controller on the old generator that powers it.
An SCR heater control panel stopped working. It runs from an old Caterpillar D349 generator set.
What we did
- Found the fault in the Allen-Bradley PLC in the heater panel and repaired it.
- Removed the generator's old controls and installed a new Basler generator controller.
- Programmed the controller for the engine and generator, and tested the set with the heater panel running.
